讲他灵感的来源:一次生病卧床,他妻子看他的眼神;他重看Rebecca;
讲DDL的early involvement,讲DDL为这个电影做的准备,缝了100个纽扣眼什么的;
所谓早期合作,就是PT Anderson搜集灵感,写剧本的过程直接和DDL share这些他想到的东西,而不是传统方式等定稿了剧本才发给演员。
Givenchy在Balenciaga那里做了大概10年学徒的样子,Balenciaga缝针缝得特别好,纪梵希问,我怎样才能像你缝得这么好?Balenciaga说,不可能的,too late,你要是能缝得好,早就该缝得好了。DDL是明知此,依然去学习缝纫。

讲他在伦敦拍片,不容易看到daily,因为伦敦那边没有lab可以develop dailies。不像LA。LA的设施没得比。(我窃笑了,想起James Gray在南美热带雨林里拍Lost world of Z,daily是每周从雨林里寄到周围的小镇,再从小镇寄到德国还是什么地方的lab,develop了再寄回来)
讲他热爱伦敦。shooting全是on location,没有build set,但回想也许是个mistake。当然DDL也prefer在实景拍。但是,"shooting in the center of London". “shooting on the 4th floor with no elevator“。回顾拍摄的logistics,PTA骂了一句脏话。哈哈哈。
讲和Jonny Greenwood的合作。他说,romance doesn't seem like it comes naturally to him, 都是mopey,sad,像radiohead,that seems to come naturally,但是我和他说,I know you have romance in you.
Jonny也像DDL一样,很早就参与合作。Jonny认为Reynolds应该听Glenn Gould。(我在心里拍桌)
