Sir Wilfred Robarts, a celebrated barrister, after he was released from the hospital because of recovery from his heart desease, was subsequently invited to defend Leonard Stephen Vole .
I've watched the movie of Billy Wilder for the third time. It's really entertaining...It's just like an onion. You will be suprised after every tearing. At every beginning of watching I always thought, iit's a love story about the couple of a man and his german wife.
But the most appealing part for me is the barrister. He seems like stubborn, and he has a malignant tongue.
His mind is not limited by his first impression. Even if Wilfred is conducted to a wrong direction as the plot is thickening, he is thinking constantly. He is an observer.
He criticizes everything of the nurse just like, emmm.. a naughty boy. He hides cigar and drinks brandy, although he knows it's all forbidden.
The most charming man is full of wisedom who makes life fascinating and brings delight.
Beautiful and fascinating minds are one in a million...
