I didn’t really like how Peeta was portrayed in the movie. In the books Peeta was clever, humorous and sarcastic. He wasn’t an exceptional fighter, true, but he was witty and could easily stand up to Katniss. For example, when Katniss wanted to go to the Cornucopia to fetch medicine for him, he threatened that he would go after her despite his injury to spoil her plans instead of pleading for her to stay. However, the movies made him into a whiny, weak, love struck boy who had no talents and only relied on Katniss to survive. The actor had fine acting skills, tbh, but the script did Peeta no justice. Overall, though, the movie was thrilling and J. Law did a wonderful job playing Katniss, as expected.
