思想史角度去解读《天工开物》,作者从族谱资料出发考察宋应星家族并未有从事工艺或劳作的人,宋也是从学者立场去组织这些工艺与技术的知识,把这些看成是可以探究了解“事”与“物”的切入点,了解“天工”的规制为何,以对抗当时道德的不稳定感和权威的思想价值观。

和朋友一起读完的。读的中途有些迷失,然而最后朋友的总结很精要:这本书就是想回答一个问题,宋应星是文人阶层出身,他为什么要去搞这些东西?带着这个问题重看,好像能理解这本书的写作目的了。(虽然宋应星建构的一种世界观读起来还是相当头痛)

和朋友一起读完的。读的中途有些迷失,然而最后朋友的总结很精要:这本书就是想回答一个问题,宋应星是文人阶层出身,他为什么要去搞这些东西?带着这个问题重看,好像能理解这本书的写作目的了。(虽然宋应星建构的一种世界观读起来还是相当头痛)

一本漫长的《天工开物》导读。因后世多把这本书看作科技史的文献并随意拆解,作者便侧重于还原《天工开物》的政治野心:揭示material transformation里的普遍性规律,以一个有内在秩序涵盖万物和人事的“气”,代替被理学强加于人事的道德的“天”;理学所依赖的文献推演也被直观观察,记录、实验取代,这是作者认为宋应星奉行的“知行合一”。然而作者并未对宋书中技术的本体、技术和人的关系做过多哲学上... 一本漫长的《天工开物》导读。因后世多把这本书看作科技史的文献并随意拆解,作者便侧重于还原《天工开物》的政治野心:揭示material transformation里的普遍性规律,以一个有内在秩序涵盖万物和人事的“气”,代替被理学强加于人事的道德的“天”;理学所依赖的文献推演也被直观观察,记录、实验取代,这是作者认为宋应星奉行的“知行合一”。然而作者并未对宋书中技术的本体、技术和人的关系做过多哲学上的阐释。看过yuk hui再来想一想......
