牛书一本。。。字字珠玑,值得推敲,读起来像侦探小说一样。

Intro写得太漂亮了,清晰、有力而宏大,很喜欢world-making这个框架,是迄今为止读过的最优雅的intro。mapping与mirroring两章的切入点很敏锐,前者将图像空间定位在真实与想象世界间的中介;后者进一步游弋于物质与想象、实存与虚空之间,绘满图像的壁面被推到了近乎透明的边缘。当然,私以为每一章中都有严重损害观点可行性的论证,这也是自己在一开始并不喜欢这本书的原因。作者将自己的... 虽然如Howard、Wenzel、胡素馨、缪哲等批判的那样,本书有许多不严谨的地方,但也确实有许多灵光乍现的地方,特别是当我想写镜殿的时候读到了Mirroring and Transformation,只不过论证大多不可靠,更多是文学性想象。

intro, chap4&5. 视觉文化的方法,纳入主体感知;壁画的想象世界构建不止来源于经文,还来自杂糅奇异元素的文化传统的先在心理结构。但是论述仍然过于依赖文本证据,尤其第五章,忽视不同版本的佛经存在的差异,而壁画创作者所依靠的版本仍是未知数。

问题和结论都足够炫酷震撼,不是一眼望到头的无聊研究。然而图像分析和图文连连看拉跨到令人满脸黑人问号。艺术史这个学科赶紧毁灭吧。

intro, chap4&5. 视觉文化的方法,纳入主体感知;壁画的想象世界构建不止来源于经文,还来自杂糅奇异元素的文化传统的先在心理结构。但是论述仍然过于依赖文本证据,尤其第五章,忽视不同版本的佛经存在的差异,而壁画创作者所依靠的版本仍是未知数。
