Overwhelmed by a wave of horror with all my hairs stand...(not surprising though
It's portrays a time that advocates "War is peace; freedom is slavery; ignorance is strength" the governor known as BIG BROTHER sets all the rules to eliminate your will and belief. It makes you a creature that live under his command. under which Winston is the only hope supporting me all the way along my reading and finally pushed me into the huge abyss and buried me with the mud of insanity. It reminds me of Lord Angelo in Measure for Measure. Shakespeare was trying to discuss the relationship between justice and mercy(which I suspect if Lord Angelo match up the praise...) George Orwell is discussing something more fierce and cruel. Reality...I suppose.
