“I believe with every cell in my body that every cell in yours must not, must never, die, and if it does have to die, let it die inside my body”. Someone who writes this is definitely a genius! Either in the book or the movie, the peach scene is my favorite. I mean the scene where Oliver tried to swallow the peach and Elio ended up crying in his arms. Can you image anything more romantic than this?
I watched the movie for the first time yesterday and it was like haunting for the whole day, so I decided to read the book and after that I watched the movie for a second time. The truth is that both the book and the movie are masterpieces. The ends are different but I believe they are both the best ones for its version of expression.
The story is sooooooo beautiful that I still can’t help thinking about it now. It has definitely won my vote for the best book of the year!(though it’s just the beginning of the new year lol)
