The author Tereck explains the coming age of "vaporization" when the society will go digital. He emapahises the importance of data by exampling Apple, Google and Amazon.

To be indispensable to the market, try to become a switchboard or platform like Google, ebay, Amazon, etc. 3. Airbnb succeeds by selling information about lodging, but not selling lodging. 4. Geography, langage, nation borders and currencies rule tradition makets, but they do not govern the digital world in the future. 7. There is a danger: costomers do not own the device, they buy a license to use it that its manufacturers can revoke at any time.

A very interesting story is: A futurist Buckminster Fuller in 1938 said how technology makes more with leass material and how physical objects either srhink smaller or disappear. He found three great currents define the commercial world: unstoppable globalization, dematerialization into knowledge and infinite networking. This is an amazing prediction that the digital world is on the way nowadays. It seems that we have to prepare and embrace it, but cannot resist it.

One shortcoming for this book is the title mismatches with its contents. The subtitle is solid strategies for success in dematerialized world. However, the book only introduces the digital trend and examples, emphasizes its importance. That is, there are no so called strategies to show readers.
