3:7 ἐν οἷς καὶ ὑμεῖς περιεπατήσατέ ποτε ὅτε ἐζῆτε ἐν τούτοις·
p.217the aorist tense of the first verb sums up that previous behavior as a single event now past; the imperfect tense of the second verese indicates a sustained way of life.
ἐν οἷς: among whom. confirms that individual conduct is socially determined to a consideraable degree
περιεπατήσατέ: you walked, the conversion of the Colossians was also a conversion from a way of life to one more characteristically Jewish in its ethical norms and so also "worthy of the Lord"(1:10).
ἐζῆτε ἐν τούτοις: reminder they had indulged in such sexual license and dgreed (cf. 1Cor.6:9-11; 1Pet.4:3-4)
